I Studied Optometry Because: “I was always interested in the brain and neuroscience. The eyes are an extension of the brain and can reveal so much about the overall health of a person. I’ve always thought that was really cool!”
My Favorite Part of being an Eye Doctor is: “Figuring out what’s going on when a patient isn’t able to see to his or her best potential. I like to know the “why” when something isn’t right, so that I can do whatever it is to fix it. Being an eye doctor is like solving a puzzle.. and I love puzzles!”
I love Rochester, NY Because: “I fell in love with Rochester after my first visit last year. I walked along the Erie Canal and finished the day with a scoop of ice cream from Pittsford Farms Dairy. Since then, I’ve come to enjoy the city even more, from the festivals to the local breweries to the people. The entire community is amazing and I am excited to call Rochester my new home!”
My Biggest Inspiration is: “My parents. They have worked so hard their entire lives to provide for their 3 children and support them in all of their endeavors. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without their love and support!”
My Favorite Food is: “Sushi! My current favorite is the Red Dragon Roll from NextDoor.”
My Favorite Pastime is: “Traveling and visiting local coffee shops!”
My Favorite TV Show is: “The Office!”
My Favorite Frame Designer is: “Ray Ban.”
Other Fact About Me: “I have a kitten named Miso!”
