Roy Kim Stacey Ritz


Growing up in Southern California largely influenced by the Adventist medical community,
Dr. Roy Kim found a passion in the human eye. After studying at Cal State University of Fullerton and graduating with a BA degree, Dr. Kim pursued his passion at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, obtaining a Doctorate in Optometry, followed by Residency in Ocular Disease from Bedford VA Hospital in Massachusetts. Dr. Kim also worked at the Boston Optometric Clinic instructing Optometry students.
Dr. Kim then, entered the corporate world, completed MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, and continued practicing Optometry for nearly 20 years. He is currently involved in professional societies, including American Optometric Association, New York State Optometric Society, and Rochester Optometric Society, residing in Rochester, NY with his wife and three children.
Dr. Kim has also participated in several international missions to provide Gift of Sight to third world countries such as Dominican Republic, Chile, Morocco, Honduras, and Mexico, and enjoys every opportunity to serve the community.
